Michael Norton, Founder and
The founder of MRC group in 1997, Mike brings a strong record of building and leading large and successful sales organizations in the software industry. Prior to MRC, Mike worked as the Senior Vice President of Federal Sales for Computer Associates and as the Vice president of Federal sales for Logic Works Corporation, with the latter going through a highly successful IPO during his tenure in management. Mike has worked with 100's of companies and 1000's of candidates over the past 9+ years; helping an untold number of organizations build successful sales, marketing and technology teams and finding quality career opportunities for 100's of industry professionals. Mike began his professional career at Xerox Corporation and has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Loyola College.
Rob Wilson, Partner
Before joining MRC group in 1998, Rob was a managing partner and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cutting Edge Computer Solutions, a professional services organization specializing in the development of custom software applications and a reseller of leading Client / Server products from vendors including Powersoft (Sybase), Mercury, Intersolv (Merant) and LogicWorks. Rob helped lead Cutting Edge from its start up days through acquisition by a publicly traded organization in 1997. Since joining MRC group, Rob has been at the forefront of the software marketplace working with vendors in a wealth of emerging and established sectors. Rob holds an Undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
Bob Goodrich, Partner
Bob Goodrich brings a wealth of successful U.S. and International Sales and Marketing management experience to MRC group. Bob has built U.S. and international sales teams, established worldwide partner programs and delivered revenue growth for a range of software, hardware and services companies involving both direct and indirect approaches. Prior to joining MRC, Bob was Vice President of Sales for JackBe (a pioneering AJAX software company). Previously Bob served as Vice President of Sales for Permeo (an application security company recently acquired by Blue Coat Systems), Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa for MetaSolv Software (a leading OSS software provider) and Vice President of Sales for Neuron Data (a rules based, application development software company). Bob has also held various sales positions at Sybase, Unisys, and Philips NV. Bob has an MBA from American University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance from Mount St. Mary's College.
Diane Stabb, Vice President
Diane joined MRC group in 1998 and brings over 20 years of experience to the team in the areas of sales, sales management and marketing. Prior to joining MRC group, Diane held various sales and leadership positions at Lotus Development Corporation/IBM and Xerox in both the commercial and federal marketplaces. Diane holds a Bachelors Degree from Gettysburg College.
Kerry Smith, Vice President
Kerry specializes in serving the needs of venture-backed and publicly traded companies in the software and services sectors, including hardware, software, services and telecommunications. Kerry conducts searches for sales, marketing and business development professionals. Prior to joining MRC group in 1999, Kerry spent 14 years in a variety of sales and sales management roles for Fortune 500 companies including Unisys and Wang Laboratories. Kerry received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland at College Park.
